Reviewers' Responsibilities

  1. Provide Constructive Feedback: Provide detailed, objective, and constructive feedback that helps authors improve their manuscripts. Highlight both the work's strengths and weaknesses and provide specific suggestions for improvement.

  2. Maintain Confidentiality: Treat the content of the manuscript and your review as confidential. Do not share any information about the manuscript with anyone outside the review process.

  3. Adhere to Deadlines: Complete your review within the agreed-upon timeframe to ensure timely processing of manuscripts. If you need more time, communicate promptly with the editorial team.

  2. Evaluating the Manuscript: Conduct a thorough assessment of the manuscript, considering its originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field. Check for any ethical issues or potential plagiarism.

  3. Submitting Your Review: Provide a detailed report, including specific comments for the authors and the editor. Use constructive language and clearly state the reasons for your recommendations.

  4. Communicating with Editors: Maintain clear and open communication with the editorial team. If you encounter any issues or need further clarification during the review process, contact the editor promptly.

Peer-Review and Editorial Procedure

  1. Initial Assessment: Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment to determine the manuscript's suitability, ensuring it aligns with the journal's scope and meets basic quality criteria.

  2. Reviewer Selection: Suitable reviewers are selected based on their expertise and invited to review the manuscript. Reviewers are chosen to provide a balanced and comprehensive evaluation.

  3. Review Process: Reviewers are given a period to provide detailed feedback and recommendations. They assess the manuscript’s originality, methodology, results, and overall contribution to the field.

  4. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' reports, the academic editor decides on the manuscript. Possible decisions include acceptance in its current form, acceptance with minor revisions, a request for major revisions, or rejection.

  5. Revision and Resubmission: If revisions are required, authors are asked to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers' comments and resubmit them for further evaluation. Reviewers may be asked to re-evaluate revised manuscripts.

  6. Final Decision: The academic editor takes the final decision on publication, ensuring that all feedback has been adequately addressed and that the manuscript meets the journal's high standards.
